Looking for some advice about Jack Jeanne given it’s very high reviews

I’ve never played an otome game before and conceptually as a genre (female focused romance stories) it’s not not something I’d typically try

is it worth a shout as a non otome reader?

How can I apply an uncensor patch to a vn on steam deck ?
I’m pretty sure it involves protontrick but I don’t know more.

To be precise, the patch is for Nanairo Reincarnation, it is to be placed in the game’s folder and it come in the form of a folder containing the patch and a .bat file.

LEANIJA ?

Trying to revive the thread so here is a quick question.

When playing a VN, do you listen to the dialogues? My habit is to wait till the VA completing the whole sentence before moving on. I feel that VAs' performance is a huge part of the whole experience so I don't mind the resulting long playtime.

Not sure if you find the answer yet but this is what I found. Yeah, protontrick is involved.

I can't imagine playing those games and skipping the dialog before the voice actors finish speaking. You're supposed to play games to relax and have fun, not to min max the time needed to finish a game :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes::grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:

I definitely let the voice lines play all the way through. The only time I would skip it, is when there are H-scenes that are awful. :flare_mogu:

Answered months later but hopefully better late than never! :flare_lmao:

I checked out the patch format, and it's xdelta, so you can use the native xdelta patcher on linux. If it's not installed, just use pacman to do so.
