I heard this arc is the worst Shield Hero arc, but yeah, out of all animes I'm currently watching, Shield Hero is by far the weakest. In other news I started watching Shield Hero season 2 today, and I think I'll just drop it. Extremely weak start. I watched 3 episodes and it was just boring.
Yep, turtle arc.yup havent seen the anime one yet but if its the turtle arc ... then yeah that was weak even in the novel
Yeah, maybe she is actually the villain? Also there is a movie exclusive manga.Interesting, they actually met before Luffy got the scar lol
Was she standing on a dragon?
oh is it something they're selling at the theater? Her character could be canon similar to Shiki thenYeah, maybe she is actually the villain? Also there is a movie exclusive manga.
Nope, they are giving it away for free to every viewer. You can see the cover at the end of the trailer. Very likely that Uta is going to be canon. Oh, and the exclusive mange is titled "4 billions". Maybe it's Shanks' wanted price?oh is it something they're selling at the theater? Her character could be canon similar to Shiki then
Damn, Netflix getting some real scoops. Might actually end up being Anime pub of 2022 for me, Crunchy better step up.
I only remember the incredibly bad CGI in last few episodes of season 3 . Season 1 is pretty damn good though. Really like how OP Shalltear was that Ainz needed to pull his best against her.Finished Overlord S3
So far I think I have felt like S2>S1>S3
My biggest disappointment with season 3 was the build up in season 2 and hinting that there could be another player character. Shalltear had a world item used on her and there was enough possibility left open that another player character could have supplied the item.
Consequently, I felt like S3 was building into something more than what it did and it just sort of ended the same way the other seasons ended with Ainz as the super, duper powerful and no one else can compare. I know the show is ultimately a power fantasy, but I think it could have been a great plot point to reveal that Ainz is not alone, even if they do not actually reveal the other character.
Still I did enjoy it enough to look forward to S4 and the game, but I really hope this is something of more consequence in S4.

For reasons I rewatched Knights & Magic. Still a really good mecha anime. I would love to see a season 2.
I remember reading that many people said story of season 3 is the peak of Overlord, and the story will just go downward from now on. Hopefully it is not true.Oh yeah, the CGI is baddddddd like, why even focus on this so up close for several minutes, levels of bad haha.
Season 1 was really good and built the show on a lot of promise that was further hinted at in season 2 that just sorta flatlined in season 3. I have not read the LNs, but I am hoping season 4 has some more spice, otherwise it is going to be bland.
I only liked season 2 more than 1 since it focused on the best character Sebas. Give him his own show please
Edit: Oh yeah and it further annoyed me when the final episode was titled Player vs. Player, why tease that into nothing
Interesting. I haven't seen the Trigun anime, but I liked the manga. Although it's been ages and I remember basically nothing. Also there is a rumor going around that Trigun is going to be remade... by a CGI studio, Orange. The leaker is considered very reliable.
The original Trigun is Very good, I don't see why a remake was needed or what they'll change.
I'll take your word for it. I've not seen LotL, only read the manga. I'm naturally wary of CGI in anime due to many many examples of it being... subpar, let's say.Interesting. I haven't seen the Trigun anime, but I liked the manga. Although it's been ages and I remember basically nothing.
Orange has an excellent track record so I'm curious how it will end up.
Land of the Lustrous is stunningly beautiful and as far as I'm concerned the poster boy for "how to make a full CGI anime" and while I haven't watched it myself, I think Beastars was also well received.
I recommend going in with an open mind and giving it a try.I'll take your word for it. I've not seen LotL, only read the manga. I'm naturally wary of CGI in anime due to many many examples of it being... subpar, let's say.
Very deserved

I'm surprised it's still #1 and the FMAB crowd haven't knocked it off yet like others that challenged it beforeVery deserved
