Played a couple more hours of Titanic Scion, but it hasn't really sucked me in that much after all. I think this game is a vicrim of "everything has to have an open world"-itis. The world doesn't add much aside from wasting time traveling. I prefer the tighter arcade-style of the previous game tbh. Ah well, maybe I'll get in the mood some other time.

I can never go wrong with Souls-likes/Metroidvanias, so I played (and finished) Death's Door next. Really solid experience all around.

Played an hour of Planet of Lana. It's a very, very pretty game. But I didn't find it engaging at all unfortunately, so it's already uninstalled.

Will look for something else. Eyeing Danganronpa 3 or Remnant II.

In gacha land I played through the current Genshin main event, which was very cute and wholesome.

And pulled my boy Kamen Rider Starlight Billy in Zenless. He's such a fun character. Fantastic EP too.

I started Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter.
It's a little crashy.
Also feels kind of jankier than what I remember Crimes and Punishments being and also kind of looks worse? I feel like the character models in particular were better before.
But I guess that was a long time ago and my memory is bad.

But yeah, it's kind of a weird game. Product of its time you could say. It's very evident that they tried to expand the audience of the series with setpieces and random actiony stuff and those feel ass and out of place. The core of the game still seems to be the same as it was in Crimes but just all this useless barely functioning non-fun garbage layered on top.

Actually kind of super curious if Chapter One and Awakened continue this trend or if they refocused on what actually makes these games good. After I finish this I might actually jump straight into Chapter One next.

I started playing Octopath Traveler 1 during the week. I tried to get into it multiple times in the past but never stayed long. This time I feel that I can stick with it. Already got three characters in the party (Cyrus, Tressa, Olberic).

took me a week or so because I wasn't feeling well then wasn't in the mood but finally got around to trying out Schrodinger's Call

I played through the demo which is the first episode and took me 80 minutes, not really sure how I feel about it yet but it's been interesting enough so far and the presentation definitely made the time fly by, I bought it but will wait till tomorrow to continue just because I want to take my time with it

I have been playing a lot of Hades 2. Somewhat surprisingly, the game turned out to be easily one of the most crash prone and unstable games that I have tried to play on my SteamOs machine. I do not know what is going on, but I think supergiant games or amd have to put in some work if people are going to get a console like experience playing Hades 2 on the steam machine. After the eight crash or so, I have been uprooted from my couch, and I am now back at my windows 11 desktop to continue to play the addictive game, hopefully with better results ...

Because of all the streams this week I didn't play as much as the previous ones, but I still managed to finish just now E3 in Rise of the Triad (Ludicrous Edition) Dark War. Only the final episode left
