New week, new thread! What are you playing?

Continuing Octopath Traveler 1. I've completed two chapter 4 stories - Tressa and Olberic. Both of their final towns are pretty cool. Atmosphere-wise, they fit their respective "end of journey" tone well. Although Tressa's final foe was coming out of no where, the ending scene afterwards was nicely written and I was smiling throughout. Olberic's ending was less climatic but that also fits his character.

I'm following the order of recruitment to complete the chapter 4 stories, so next will be Ophilia. The sequence afterwards will be H'aanit > Therion > Alfyn > Primrose, and finally my main character Cyrus. I know there's a final dungeon and boss afterwards. Also going to fight the remaining optional bosses after completing all chapter 4 stories, so there is still a lot to do. Whew, didn't expect this to turn into such a long journey. Let's see it through.

I'm playing No One Lives Forever this week, and having a blast!

It's hot, but luckily Veritas Tale: Witch of the Dark Castle is a very simple game to run. Finished the Warrior story and I'm planning on finishing the Mage story this week

Finished Control + DLCs. It was a lot better than I remember and now I'm hyped for Resonant.

I started 007 First Light and it's an interactive Bond movie which is cool.

Only just got round to playing Roadwarden. Incredible. In most rpgs i've been skipping parts of the story (sorrynotsorry), now i love reading it because it's just so well written. A very interesting, lived-in world. Roadwarden

Started Live A Live, at the beginning of the prehistoric chapter so not much to say.

I'm still going through Final Fantasy VII Remake, currently at chapter 13. They did a incredible job portraying Midgard though I'm not the biggest fan of the action combat.

I also started Fields of Mistria, it's a game that I bought in the past year but I was waiting for it to leave early access, and since they announced it's releasing the 1.0 version in the next month I decided to jump in. I love the character art being inspired by 80's anime, but I still can't say too much about the game as I'm still in the first week of the game.
