What didn't you like about it? I was considering buying it but we often seem to like/dislike the same games so I'm in doubt now

I can tell you this at least:Sell me on Days Gone, I know nothing about it
If you play Days Gone and clock 24 hours in it then you can: 'Welp, Day's Gone'Sell me on Days Gone, I know nothing about it
you go brrm brrm with bike brother in AAARRGGGGG land full of vampiric zombies, OH NOES, HERE THEY COME!Sell me on Days Gone, I know nothing about it
Badly paced, sorta repetive, a bit janky and too long. What didn't you like about it? I was considering buying it but we often seem to like/dislike the same games so I'm in doubt now
Yeah I think Days Gone will do pretty well on PC, that zombie plus open world combo is great for the PC audience. And yet it's probably the one that will sell the most from the ones available at the moment as Zombie genre on PC is a juggernaut.
We don't know what's the density from #1, #14 or #25, it could very well be 10, 10k or 10M but as they won't say a thing, well, we don't know haha
tl;dr it doesn't really matter as we don't know what every place means in terms of copies.
I find it funny how that Valve has really locked down people from buying cheap games in other regions we're seeing less and less regional pricing.
meanwhile game publishers ....
that's because publishers never cared about regional pricing in the first place ... they were only whining about people buying from other regions because they were "losing money" ... they were always going to start raising the prices eventually anywayI find it funny how that Valve has really locked down people from buying cheap games in other regions we're seeing less and less regional pricing.
Muh rising development costsPublishers are greedy pricks, they no longer have an excuse, but that's okay since bootlickers will defend them anyway.

Too bad I already have a way-too-expensive headset for my needs. Also that I don't have the constitution to handle being a streamer, which this it doubtlessly made for.
Meh, I would like to be a streamer (said the socially anxious guy) but this is so not compatible with my way of playing games. Commenting every little shit you do would make me bonkerToo bad I already have a way-too-expensive headset for my needs. What I did. Post game was getting harder and I unfortunately had more than my fill. After many years of starting and stopping playing I finally beat Path of Exile 10 acts! Now I have access to the post game content and I don't think I'll spend too much time with it because it could require more time investment and I already feel satisfied with the game.
I'm slowly moving through Yakuza 6 and I'm taking my there as it's the final game with Kiryu.
I played 3-7 back to backReminder
Never ever play yakuza games back to back
I got a feeling this is going to be another Amazon bomb, especially with the way Amazon seems to be trying to squeeze every penny out of people playing the game. Why are MMO's dying / New ones never taking off?
"I have no idea mate, oh, btw let's implement another paid mechanic so that the people don't need to play our MMO so much."
Same when I replayed 0-2 back to back, will replay 0-2 and then play 3-7 at some pointI played 3-7 back to back
Loved it
You have to fix them on the product first. With MTX up the wazoo from the start they are just showing that they don't believe in their product and just want to fleeze their customers.Amazon need to focus on gaining goodwill first, before adding mtx up the whazoo to their games.
I mean, they can afford it ffs
Yup, that's true, selling quality of life features before release is bafflingly stupid to me.You have to fix them on the product first. With MTX up the wazoo from the start they are just showing that they don't believe in their product and just want to fleeze their customers.
I wouldn't be shocked if the Amazon bean counters are starting to get impatient with their videogame studios and they need to start making money.Amazon need to focus on gaining goodwill first, before adding mtx up the whazoo to their games.

Thankfully FFXIV is still safe from paid mechanicWhy are MMO's dying / New ones never taking off?

They added the "skip content" potion years after the content was obsolete. Honestly, it was needed, the original games endgame questline before the first expansion was immense and you can't skip it! You need to do all those quests before you get into the expansion. And the skip option was demanded for years from the playersThe new storyline added to Nier Replicant is really good. Sad but really good. Not to mention the new OST for the storyline is a banger as well.
Currently on the way to Ending B, hopefully I can finish it in several days.

Yeah but it doesn't give you benefit over other people who doesn't use the skip potion. The boosts that they are talking in the tweet usually gives you benefit over other people like for example more opportunity to do trading (more slots, less taxes, etc). They added the "skip content" potion years after the content was obsolete. Sure, that is also a gameplay problem that could be solved ingame, but ehhhh, I'll allow it. They are clearly attached and proud of their storyline and they want it to "hurt" when someone is skipping it.

I quite liked it. It starts slow and your motorbike will run out of fuel in about 30s at the start but once the game opens up to the 2nd large area it gets a lot better. The Zombie hoards are pretty boring though, no where near as fun as advertised.Sell me on Days Gone, I know nothing about it
Yeah, I played a few hours of Destroy, it's fine enough. Not in a rush to get back to it.Yesterday was insomnia !
So I started Destroy All Humans on gamepass and... it’s very mediocre. I can’t hate it, the chara design is nice, the humor is funny sometimes, the game does just enough for me to not hate it at all and continue playing.
But talk about missed opportunities. The game barely has a plot and writing (good !) but the alien leader can’t shut his trap for one fucking minute. Side activities are limited, and mission design is far too rigid for now. I don’t want emergent gameplay or whatever, but those maps scream ‘let’s fool around in this little sandbox’ while the missions are too often time trials or very specific goals.
Again, I can’t hate it and will continue playing. I just hoped for that little something and it’s not there.
It's like their approach to this project is to build a game around exploitative business practices.I got a feeling this is going to be another Amazon bomb, especially with the way Amazon seems to be trying to squeeze every penny out of people playing the game.
I'd say do it but I bought a D.Va Razer headset for my ex and it broke within months, and she barely used it.
I made it through 0-2 and then stopped at 3. Going from fun games to yakuza 3 is a shock for me.Reminder
Never ever play yakuza games back to back
It's not a bad game, mind you. But going from Kiwami 2 to 3 is rough.Yakuza 3 was my entry to the series and I liked it at the time :X
Yeah, it's more a shock from the dated combat system more than anything. It's not a bad game, mind you. But going from Kiwami 2 to 3 is rough.
