Hey there, Banana Mania looks AMAZING and it's awesome!SEGA does have a couple of incoming PC ports in the next few months, but they're not what what the majority truly wants, and one of them may as well not count since it's stuck on epic...
Sonic Colors and
Still, some new and actually exciting announcements would be nice by now, but I don't think they'll announce anything until after Super Monkey Ball...
I'm definitely gonna get it, but when I say it's not what the majority truly wants, I mean when comparing to franchises like Persona or Yakuza/Judgment.Hey there, Banana Mania looks AMAZING and it's awesome!
In the 1 year since that article, we did get multiple Yakuza games.Sega will "aggressively" focus on PC ports after Steam strength during lockdown
Sega will start "aggressively" porting games from its back catalogue to Steam, due to the strength of digital PC sales …www.gamesindustry.biz
It's been a year since that article. I'm still waiting.
the perfect occasion to start this Halo replay I keep delaying.
Then I saw the size of the Major Collection
Yeah, I understood what you meant and I agree, something something, The best of Japan Vol.2I'm definitely gonna get it, but when I say it's not what the majority truly wants, I mean when comparing to franchises like Persona or Yakuza/Judgment.
Though...
In the 1 year since that article, we did get multiple Yakuza games.
Did this actually end up being good? It looked super cool from a visual perspective.Nabs bad news for you, no Steam
The Touryst coming to PS5, PS4 on September 9
Shin’en Multimedia will release The Touryst for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 via PlayStation Store on September 9 for $19.99 / €19.99, the developer announced.www.gematsu.com
Yeah, but those were happening anyway though. In the 1 year since that article, we did get multiple Yakuza games.
Oh, we did get SMT3 HD this year too. Hmm, 4 Yakuza games, SMT3 HD, and while not a port from console, it's still a game that came from SEGA Japan, PSO2 NGS (despite how barebones it is right now), all of these in the first half of the year, so I guess it's not surprising if things are a bit more quiet in the 2nd half of the year.Yeah, I understood what you meant and I agree, something something, The best of Japan Vol.2
Wonder what his other options were? Maybe in an alternate universe, GabeN would now be the CEO of the worlds largest knife manufacturer.
Yes, it ended up being very good. Not for everyone mind you, as it is pretty laid back.Did this actually end up being good? It looked super cool from a visual perspective.
It is a very little nice game, yes.Did this actually end up being good? It looked super cool from a visual perspective.
Considering the failure to recoup the money invested during the exclusive period of previous games, is it possible that epic changed the terms that the exclusivity period only ends after getting back their MG or after some ludicrous time period (5 years for instance)?Nabs bad news for you, no Steam

it’s never been on EGS afaik, it’s exclusive to the W10 store on PC. I think Shin’en might just be very weird in terms of how they approach non-Nintendo platforms, but maybe MS did moneyhat it for some reason, idkConsidering the failure to recoup the money invested during the exclusive period of previous games, is it possible that epic changed the terms that the exclusivity period only ends after getting back their MG or after some ludicrous time period (5 years for instance)?
I don't really care about the game but in the past week or so it's the 2nd game that won't come to steam after the 1 year period, which might indicate a pattern is forming.
oh yeah, that ... that's on MS, from what i readWell, this is a little bit annoying. I logged out of my user account, logged in as admin, ran some configs windows wanted me to do then ran Cheat Happens Trainer Manager and it worked. I logged out, logged back in as my normal user, allowed elevation and the CheatHappens Trainer Manager crashes again.
They have zero chance of me logging in as an admin user to play games and run their Cheat Manager. Dream on.
It seems to be a recurring problem with WebView2 which is annoying.

That sounds mad. It seems to be failing to build the GUI probably due to WebView2 failing. I can't believe that everyone else using the CheatManager is logged in as Admin... That's insanity, lol. I'll post in one of the CheatManager threads and see if anyone has any new things for me to try. I'd redownloaded, checked folder perms, deleted layout.xml, have only 1 trainer and it's valid, i've installed the .NET Core requirements and the Evergreen Web requirements and i'm running from elevation so it should be fine. It's very odd.oh yeah, that ... that's on MS, from what i read
but you don't have to use the manager to use the trainers - so at least there's that
The reviews for Psychonauts 2 are really good.
It's similar in GPU requirements, though obviously 1440p/120 will have much higher CPU (and other rest-of-system) requirements. Is 4k/60 more or less the same than 1440/120 ? In horsepower required, I mean.
...yeah, not big on math.
Just trying to gauge where I will play some demanding games.

ok nevermind... I'm dumb?
It's windows store exclusive for no good reason, just them locking it down there.
In my defence I didn't even know MS store exclusivity existed
Interesting.
"I think the value proposition now is what we can contribute to the Game Pass subscription service," Schafer says. "I think everything is moving in some form or another to subscriptions.
Schafer acknowledges that some people have concerns how subscription services erode ownership or how they might build up barriers to entry for developers and turn services into yet another gatekeeper determining which developers get access to an audience, but he sounds convinced subscriptions are taking over.
"I don't really feel like there's much of a choice about these things," Schafer says. "The way things are going is not something I feel like I have control over. You look at what happened with streaming in other media and it's just unstoppable. Even as a consumer, I went through a move recently and had all these boxes of DVDs and CDs and was like, 'Why do I own all these things?' So even as a consumer, I'm part of that move to subscription services.
"I still think there will be places like Itch.io or other platforms for people who want to have a direct relationship and release things independently. Kinda like the Bandcamp of video games, right?"
what a horrifying futureInteresting.

I always feel bad when I want to ignore a game on Steam but accidentally click 'Follow', then unfollow and ignore. Can't help but imagine someone somewhere getting excited and telling his wife and children that someone is interested in his/her game that's been in development for 8 year which is their last hope. Gave up job. Put in all the money. But then those hopes and dreams get crushed a second later. So sad. But sorry, MouthSimulater: MelonSeedsCracker just isn't my thing.
There's always a chance, god knows. Is there a chance Persona 5 will be announced for for Xbox/Steam during the MS Gamescom presser in 2 hours (I think)?
Seems like a reasonable take from Schafer.Interesting.
