I try and avoid much FF talk because I got sick of it in most places online, but yea FF9 is not bad at all. I dislike very few FF games. I like shitposting about them though.
Me when I bought it to replay on Switch...Don't you love those 15 seconds loading/transitions into each battle.

On the Final Fantasy discourse, don't sleep on Fantasian Neo Dimension. It's 100% a Final Fantasy game with a different name, and a great one too!
Chonky SSD just 40 euros more than what I paid last year. Given it spends most of its time at 100+ more, I have found my Christmas self gift.

I have to do some housekeeping as i have far too many drives full of far too much "but i might need it" so i need to be brutal and just start dumping a lot of stuff to clear up some space so i can start filling it with shit i use once a year again.

Well looks like I need to refund The Outer Worlds. Turns out the GOG version is free as part of Amazon Prime (still there for a week).
I ended up getting these on Amazon due to their free games and the freebies for the release of the new video game related series i haven't watched yet and have forgotten the name of.
I have a few of these on Steam but having them on GOG is good too.

I know it gets made fun of and mocked a lot, but FF13 should really be in these conversations too.
It had an incredible/underrated active staggering combat system that was ahead of its time. Very comprehensive too with a bunch of important techniques.
Great boss fights with some ridiculous difficulty curves.
It even had some content for the open world fiends despite being mostly linear.
The cast was dumb and fun too imo. The plot and story are the only negatives but lets be honest...every FF games has its negatives.
The game was beautiful and artistically/graphically ambitious for its time. More so than everything else Square made since until they remade FF7 imo.
Its only like 6$ too at the moment. So for those who never played it...check it out.

Also Dragon's Dogma 2 being in silver tier is underwhelming just like the game
It's been years and this still hasn't been fixed, ffs Volvo, that's a 2 second fix (just move the compatdata folder instead of copying it when moving the game data).

Atleast I think it was honey,but I remember something like, hey you are going to buy something that cost $25.78 but you can actually get it for $23.47. the catch is that you have to buy a gift card from us. So I think it was just the gift card resellers doing something. But that's been my experience with it in the past and didn't Paypal end up buying Honey? I think I still have some money in my account from it.

Yeah it's owned by Paypal. Basically when using honey to do a purchase, they'll overwrite the cookie referral of the content creator, taking in fact the fee that usually goes to those creators.
This is pretty ingenious, honestly. Never used this stuff before, and kinda surprised LTT didn't scream about this from the roof. It fits their scandal focused videos to a T and they'd actually be in the right to be angry about it. But they seem a bit dumb on this issue, since the very post where they admit not being happy about Honey, they promote another app that does the same nonsense with affiliation stealing.
Always viewed extensions like Honey as adware tbh

I ended up buying a few games that are very cheap, like State of Decay 2, Divinity OS1 and the latest game of the original Picross developer because I was in the mood for some Picross.
No doubt Era's console gamers will be proud of me for not spending too much money on the biggest gambling and Nazi platform in the world.
