we all do, we all doI wish more games used CryEngine and not Tim Sweeney's crapware.
I wish more devs used BlueSky and not Tim Sweeney's X for socials.we all do, we all do![]()
Awesome and detailed report, thanks!
I know who's responsible for most of those sales;
Total War Pharaoh changed to a Steam key in the meantime, btw, it mightve been an error that it shows an Origin logo on your screenshot. (Immortals of Avenum remains an Origin key as of now)
This may have been the very last game I have kickstarted? Will be starting it soon, hopefully. Though World War Z currently has its hooks in me, and I still have a lot of Silent Hill 2 to go..
This was released and it looks interesting.
Nice!No official post yet but Watch_Dogs just got Steam achievements!

Safe to assume Watch_Dogs 2 and Legion will be next.
They improved it a lot, but it's still one of the lesser games in the series, unless you've already played all others to death, you're still better served with thoseHas Pharaoh actually become a game Total War people like? It was kind of shit on when it came out so IDK if it's in a good place these days or not.
Fuckers didn't even ask me why I skipped a month

I didn't know that site do I took a look at the first two threads. I couldn't stop laughing when reading the comments: "Steam has no exclusives but shitty indies". "PC is truly dying because FF7 sold more on Playstation". "PC gamers will pirate it anyway". I had to double check the dates of these comments, but they are actually posted in 2025 instead of 2005.How it started (for our friends at Icon Era):
They assume you were watching anime I think.Fuckers didn't even ask me why I skipped a month![]()
Just in time for the new one

Tried KCII myself then, it seems to run ok at Low settings, even Ultra except some spots got down to 20 fps, I'll go with Medium and see if that's alright, it looks fine (even Low does except the lod). I'll try the intro siege bit again, that went down to 30fps even Low. Wow, 7 years since the first already. I should try it again, I remember performance being similar but if it's been that long, perhaps I didn't have my 1080 just yet at the time. I'm pretty sure I finished it though. Idk, lol.Does the game require AVX2 or RT or anything PCs that could run the original don't have? Including raw power, I don't think it was too smooth for me last time, if it's like 2x as demanding then I probably shouldn't even try it. I liked the original well enough though it's no Gothic and I can't remember the story at all so I'd have preferred some new character (or creator if I'm gonna be in it mostly for the wandering on my terms and not following/shaping a specific dude's path).
Tested this with two different sets of settings. Frame Gen was used for both tests. The average frame rate doesn't differ very much, but the first test had some major hitching when the camera would change. This was completely gone in the second test.
Max settings, Ray Tracing off, native resolution. Didn't see it dip below 60 FPS.
Max settings, Ray Tracing High, native resolution. Had some dips into the mid 50s during the lighting storm section.
Max settings, Ray Tracing High, DLSS Quality.

After forcing DLSS4 preset K, the skybox still has the fuzzy effect when clearing up but the shimmering on the lightning struck stones and the purple crystals at the end is way reduced than the default DLSS3. Comes with an fps hit as expected, but it's probably lesser or not at all on 4/5 series cards.I'll probably run with DLSS, but I hope Capcom adds DLSS 4 at some point because it was a teensy bit fuzzy looking, especially with the skybox.
And here I am, telling everyone who wants to listen, or not,Watch persona 6 still not have full voice acting despite the series being big now. I mean they cheaped out hard with metaphor but you could maybe give them an excuse that it's a new IP.
And I don't think it's fair to still judge yakuza from the standard that it used to almost not get localized. That was like over 10 years ago now. The reality is they gained a small boost in sales from going multiplat but now they've hit a wall again where every entry seems to max out at 2m sales (we don't even know if 8 reached that yet).
Even if Sony releases a remaster it is still pathetic they are doing all this slimy bs to attack modders etc.
Sony is taking the scumbag Nintendo route
Could not disagree more, it's 2025 there's no excuse for this anymore. VAs don't get paid that much and even small indie studios can have full VA. Even disco elysium, one of the wordiest games ever, has full VA.And here I am, telling everyone who wants to listen, or not,
that you don't need to voice act every minor line
Didn't Bandai actually try going after DSFix? Or at least they don't seem to want to acknowledge it in anyway shape or form. I'm not sure if I ever heard about Fromsoft and if they ever acknowledged DSFixEven if Sony releases a remaster it is still pathetic they are doing all this slimy bs to attack modders etc.
Imagine if Sony published DS1. they would have probably gone after DSfix too wtf.
Bloodborne is one of the all time greats and the 10 year anniversary is happening soon too. Instead of celebrating the game Sony is pushing negative pr like this. smh.
Really want Total War Pharoah, every Humble Sub story, it's just one game I really want
The fix is still around so they weren't successful if they did try to take it down. But I don't remember what was happening with Bamco back then.Didn't Bandai actually try going after DSFix? Or at least they don't seem to want to acknowledge it in anyway shape or form. I'm not sure if I ever heard about Fromsoft and if they ever acknowledged DSFix
Now if only Vanillaware would get the memo
ultra, RT high, dlaa, framegen off
ultra, RT high, dlss quality, framegen on
ultra, RT high, dlaa, framegen on
I expect the framerates to drop when there are more demanding environments and with actual combat going on, so I think this last setting is what I'll settle on to play at.
Imagine being this stupid... No one didn't buy DATV because it was lacking "shared world features." This makes me even more worried for Mass Effect 5."In order to break beyond the core audience, games need to directly connect to the evolving demands of players who increasingly seek shared-world features and deeper engagement alongside high-quality narratives in this beloved category. Dragon Age had a high quality launch and was well-reviewed by critics and those who played; however, it did not resonate with a broad-enough audience in this highly competitive market."
