If they can get new Zelda out in time for black friday they will clean up for sure this year.

Switch lite = 150$
Switch reg = 250$
Switch pro = 400$.

They will all fly off the shelves. And if they really plan on releasing the new open world Pokemon before their fiscal end...then they should bump up that output to 35 lol.

Yeah. I think Zelda is pretty much a lock for late 2021 / early 2022. It will be the top attraction for people to get Switch Pro. In addition, I couldn't find the source, but it seems that some "insiders" on the other site are claiming that Mario Kart 9 is also launching later this year. If Pokemon Legend can't make it, MK9 can easily fill in the gaps.

Those ultimate perks that one can claim on xbox, I didn't realise that you have to active the key after claiming it! Haha I have claimed so much but never actually activated them.XD
 
I just started Astral Chain, I'd say it's a decent game but PG really need to work on some of the design for non combat related stuff, also I don't know if it's just the animations or that the game is running at 30fps, the movement is really sluggish especially if you compare it to their other games, even some of the combat related elements aren't exactly that refined, things like the blade mode where they already did once in MGR feels inferior in this.

Not much impression so far, haven't played anything yet, only bought Demons Souls from US PSN Store with amazon gift cards (currently downloading the game).

Atm, the OS is a mixture of boring and confusing, maybe the boring part is just me growing up, but I always found new technology UIs exciting to play around with.

The store, coming from Steam, is terrible. Had somewhat of a hard time finding Demons in the store.

As of right now (plans can change of course), I don't plan on buying other games. Sackboy interests me the most, with Returnal on second and Miles Morales on a distant third.

Demon's Souls feels really good to play, Dualsense isn't utilized as much as in Astros Playroom, but it is nice. I "worry" that Astros Playroom will be peak Dualsense usage. Same thing goes for Returnal, haven't played it much yet (working on finishing Pedestrial on PC), Dualsense is decent in Returnal, but far from Astro usage.
 
Had this weird glitch where I turned on the Xbox with the console's button, I heard the chime but it didn't turn on. I even waited a few seconds to see if maybe it was updating or something but nothing came up. Unplugged it and turned it on again and it worked, but shit was weird.

Huh, so maybe it is an OS thing. I turned it on this way because sometimes the controller doesn’t power on the console. Sometimes when I turn it on via the controller I hear the chime twice, I wonder if it’s because of this same glitch

Yeah I'm curious as to why it happens, I also thought it was doing an update and was scared to brick it. Maybe something happens in it during sleep mode, kind of like it hangs up or something. But seems to be very rare so that's good.

Yeah it is infrequent.
What is getting very frequent are the fucking rewards punch cards not activating.

I've went from not feeling Returnal for the first few hours to thinking it is my GOTY so far (granted it's one of two 2021 releases I have enjoyed). The moment to moment gameplay is top notch, but the roguelite mechanics aren't as robust as something like Isaac, which isn't really a fair comparison considering that game has had nearly a decade of iteration and improvement.
 
I tried MLB 21 or whatever it's called on my One X via game pass. Not for me. Didn't understand anything, not really interested in the game either, but it was free on game pass so why not at least try it out.

Not a suprise though, baseball isn't really a thing here in my country. Looking at the top selllers for EU PSN I think MLB was at 15th place while in US it was first, so should say it self really.

I think Ive played 3 or 4 runs and the game has yet to click for me like other roguelites, hopefully it happens when I decide to focus on the game more. So Ive played like 1.5 hours of the game I guess.

That's what im seeing so far too, wonder if Housemarque would update further to this game or maybe DLC, for their first 3d game it's a good game for sure but bit lacking in some areas i feel

Would've been atleast a nice addition for Nintendo Switch Online
 
Nintendo could have made so much money by selling legacy titles on Switch. I honestly don't understand what they are thinking.

I'm betting their logic is something insane like it being "too much value" or that it "distracts players from buying new titles."

They even have devs or a division that specialises in emulating and we still haven't seen much apart from the slow drip feed of NES and SNES games. They're too frustratingly slow in expanding their catalogue when like NaroDethan states, they have existing games on the Wii's VC and heck, even the games on 3DS' VC. Just bring them all to Switch and with the Switch platform hopefully continuing, never start over ever again. Alas, nope.
 
Yes, Nintendo has been frustratingly behind the times for quite some time. Which is why I always end up hacking their consoles and emulating the games I buy from them. :jj_idgas:

Returnal dropped down to 26th place in UK physical list.

I view it as a mixture of price tag and wrong audience (roguelites/likes are biggest on PC).
 
My physical edition of Kowloon Highschool Chronicle unexpectedly turned up today!
I'd totally forgotten when it was releasing so it was a nice surprise.
Nice little dungeon-blobber with VN overtones and a leaning towards puzzle & exploration finally getting a release.

Here's about the only gameplay video i could find for it.
