With the new Gears DLC being shown, is there a chance for the Gears collection to drop on Steam?

Doubt it as most of the games don't even have ports, only 1 and 4 are available on PC. I wonder why Gears 2 and 3 never got the same remaster treatment as the original.

I kinda wish they'd at least release Gears 4 on Steam, though. Played it through Gamepass recently and I enjoyed it enough that I'd pay 10 bucks to own it on Steam permanently.

-----------------------

Which reminds me of something I've been meaning to ask. Now that Halo MCC is complete, I'll likely be buying it during the holiday sale and it got me thinking about other games in Microsoft's back catalog. Gears 4 isn't the only glaring omission. There's also Halo 5 and Halo Wars 2 that never made it to Steam. What do you guys think the odds are that they'll come eventually?

So far MS seems to be more intent on looking forward rather than back as far as releasing games on Steam goes.

I still can't believe this game is finally releasing. The money I spent on it was marked as a loss long ago.

I have an offer of three months of stadia pro, is it worth even at free? Is there actually anything to play there?
Stadia has
Gylt is on pro which I believe is an exclusive title
into the breach is great
Hitman 1+ 2 is amazing
Sniper Elite 4 is good
Steamworld Dig 1+2 are incredible
etc...

So yeah for 3 free months there should be something you like.

Looks like in Nippon Cyberpunk will be consored. Ah yes good old CERO. I didn't pay attention to the changes though.

I've never heard of it.

its some game by some czech or polish studio, probably eurojank of some sorts, cyberpunk alone yells 80s, probably has retrot pixel graphics. studio only is known for a game literally called Whicher...i mean, its in the title, which game? i dunno, i already forgotten. valve probably desperately bought exclusivity right because epyx fared well with buying exclusive indie titles or something i dunno

Whicher? That looks like a misspelling. I think the name is Wicker and it might be based on the classic movie called The Wicker Man starring Nicholas Cage.

It's worth trying out just to try out. I know people like shitting on it, but a lot of that is console warrior wishful thinking. Steamworld Quest and Kine are up there if you're into that.

The banner is not very enticing. And I don't recognize Keanu Reeves. :lul:

The banner looks better with the characters swapped around. I am a master of MS Paint. :pro:

I heard the game is an adaptation of a Netflix show. You know how bad adaptations from one medium to another are usually. Pass.

I expect Cyberpunk to launch with a mostly positive / mixed review score due to the bugs and probably performance. We'll see
It's going to be quite an interesting launch.

In a few hours the embargo for streamers is going to be up so people will be already playing the game on PC (mostly?) so we will have a first glimpse of such bugs and what's the quantity.

In terms of numbers, reviews will stay in mostly positive (around 70%) and CCU will probably reach 500k by Sunday if the trend is accurate.

Not a bad price on Amnesia Rebirth and Solitaire Conspiracy.

Anybody knows if Cyberpunk on CDKeys includes the bonus content ?

I agree it will be north of 500k by the weekend end but no chance reviews stay in the 70s. Witcher 3 is at 98% positive with 400k+ reviews. CDPR has way too many simps on steam.

I think CP will be 90+ from the get go. Whatever negative there are will be drowned out by the positives. Being buggy only hurts devs who have a history of not fixing their games.

Well, I meant the first weekend, I don't think a 70% positive is crazy if the bugs are numerous for people, in the long term of course it will be overwhelming positive with more or less the same %

You compared 5 years of reviews from TW3 with 4 days of Cyberpunk 2077, TW3 got a lot of mixed reviews the first few months for the same reason I'm theorizing, bugs.
