I guess that's why they gave them away multiple times.User Acquisition Cost for Celeste and Inside does not look like it is worth it. For most games, it is $2, and for these it is $12. :lul:

Depends whether you need to work 500 years to earn it or sell one trash fortnite emote for 10 minutes to get $200 mil.146 million spondooles on Borderlands 3
Not worth it
Because Sony makes biggest money?I'm as always completely puzzled by why Epic is going after Apple of all platforms. Seems Sony would have at least had a chance of being worth it.
Nearly half of Fortnite's revenue comes from Playstation. Epic wouldn't dare bite the hand that feeds them.I'm as always completely puzzled by why Epic is going after Apple of all platforms. Seems Sony would have at least had a chance of being worth it.
Not until they set a precedent somewhere or lobby for enough law changes.Nearly half of Fortnite's revenue comes from Playstation. Epic wouldn't dare bite the hand that feeds them.
Me looking at those court documents likeMan, with the non-existing transparency the last decades, all of the companies involved (Apple and Epic) and thrown into it (Valve, Sony, Google, Microsoft, and all the other companies that Epic has business relations with) all of them must be really pissed at the documents, revenue, emails, etc. that are now open to the public.
Because Sony makes biggest money?
If Sony had removed Fortnite, they'd lose way more.
They can use this case to persuade special cut from Sony or just hoping someone else uses it to sue Sony (if they win).
I guess that makes sense. What a stupid lawsuit still. Getting kids involved in a social media campaign surrounding a corporate lawsuit... At least a Cyberpunk dystopia looked cool when I imagined it.Nearly half of Fortnite's revenue comes from Playstation. Epic wouldn't dare bite the hand that feeds them.

Nice
Exactly this.Epic probably considers it an exclusive since it's not on Steam and they paid some money to Ubisoft.
Hopefully regional pricing won't suck. With Enhance being greedy enough to take up 3 exclusivity offers though, I kinda doubt it.
YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA!!!!Mor will be happy for sure!
i imagine it's like a sports event for lawyersToday our legal team was eating popcorn while listening to the whole Epic vs Apple mess lmao
Yeah but watch dogs is marked as an exclusive tooWas it an exclusive? It is on Uplay as well.

For me, there is an M (or Y) on top of a W, so something like Modern Warfare would work.
It is not EGS exclusive though.

Enhanced a bit.
Wonder if Rami is on the Dropped Frames podcast this week again. They would have much to discuss. As I said indie developers for the most part are not good at doing business
Yeah some of those numbers are LOWAs I said indie developers for the most part are not good at doing business
Absolutely awesome game. Everyone owes it to themselves to play this, especially if they have a VR headset or 4K HDR TV.
I think Super Meat Boy was the very first EGS freebie. Also Rami is right about indie devs needing to ask for more money. The funny part is Super Meat Boy goes for $50k, then The End is Nigh for $200k. I guess they could have asked for way more than that and get away with it.
They must have ran out of exclusivity deals
don't worry - there's still time for stadia and luna to slide into their DMsThey must have ran out of exclusivity deals
Am a lawyer, can confirmi imagine it's like a sports event for lawyers
I agree. My point was that McMillen realized that he could have asked for more between the SMB freebie and the TEiN freebie.Rami is right about indie devs needing to ask for more money.
On a scale of Junior High Finals to Superbowl, how does this rate?Am a lawyer, can confirm
Eh it's pretty boring so far because most of Sweeney's testimony so far consists of Epic's lawyers asking really basic questions like "what's an operating system" and "what's a console". It should get a lot more fun once Apple's lawyers start grilling him but I will probably be sleeping when the cross examination starts as it is almost midnight in my timezone. On a scale of Junior High Finals to Superbowl, how does this rate?
I think RiME is one of the most egregious. World of Goo is a 13-year-old game, you can make an argument that it probably wouldn't have sold that much at this point any more. RiME is relatively new, clearly has much higher production costs, and sold for even less.I agree. My point was that McMillen realized that he could have asked for more between the SMB freebie and the TEiN freebie.
Actually, all of the devs who sold their game, which then resulted in a UAC of less than $1 were the most scammed. For instance, RiME and World of Goo.
